We are debating turning the bright green wall in his room to the Disney Cars red..but Im unsure as I really l really love the green!

Today we are celebrating Keaton and Cierra's First Birthdays.

We went to Jeanettes this morning for Cupcakes and Rah ate his..and Olivers.

No one appreciates her cooking like Ryland, he's the first to the table and the last to leave.lol

Since about a week old, this guy has been smiling like crazy!!

I am loving this age and although almost every single one of my friends has baby fever, lol..or is pregnant, lol.

I am perfectly content at the moment, with my Little Boy Blue <3>

Sunday Happiness

Today we went to an indoor playground with Tasha, Michel and Alanna! It was a hoot and the kids loved going down the slides and what not, it was a lot of fun. Of course the car was Rylands favorite!!

Hair today, Gone tomorrow

Today we went and got Rah's hair cut! He went from the gentleman look to a Faux Hawk, very very cute!! He looks so much older now though!! sigh!

We also booked our tickets to go see Ryland's Auntie Sim , Uncle Kev and all those ladies!!! We are going in the middle of March and are so SUPER EXCITED!!!!!

Today was great we went swimming with Oliver & Carter and spent the rest of the day at home playing together.

Thursday

Had a wonderful day with Rah today.
This is him about 10 minutes ago completely zonked.

Upon seeing this picture his Godmother Simone said "Awwwww.....he sleeps."

Sweet Dreams. Godspeed

It's nice to know that some things change..while others remain the same.
Sleeping for instance, thank God and everyone else in the world that my son started sleeping through the night..yes it took until he was 13 months..and Im pretty sure I was partially insane by then..But Sometimes I forget how hard those months were. When we have a bad night and he is up sick..and the next day I am reminded that it used to be like that a lot..and much worse.
So I am happy that he is finally sleeping.
That being said..I'm still not ready for another baby yet..lol. ( A little too tired for that still. )

You know whats super sweet? He sleeps with his Bunny Friend, that was given to him in the NICU by my mother..and he uses his breastfeeding pillow to rest his head on. It warms my heart to know that I nursed him for 18.5 months on that pillow..and although he self weaned from me..I like to think that the pillow comforts him and reminds him of nursing.

So although he is bigger..he is still very small in the grand scheme of things.

22 Months old!

2 months..and I'll have myself a 2 year old!!
Absolutly Crazy!!
Rah was back to his smiley happy self today..in this picture he was watching In the Night Garden..which is the creepiest show ever..and he loves it.
Today we played with Alanna and Oliver and had a nice day driving Momma crazy.

I dont feel well Momma

Ryland just doesn't feel well today. Im not sure if he is coming down with something, but he has been upset all day with a fever..I made him sugar cookies shaped like hearts..but even Momma's extra love didn't help.

Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow.

Sunday Morning

Ryland loves being tossed into the air by Daddy(and taking Bunny along for the ride is always a must!!)..and to play peek a boo with Momma off the side of the bed.

It's not very often that he gets the two of us at the same time, so I know that it's very important to him.

As his 2nd Birthday quickly approaches..I am toying with different invitation ideas & goodie bags...

That being said..I can't believe he's almost 2!!!

...Still very much my baby though.

A Simple Shower

Seriously since Sim advised me to let Ryland in the tub by my feet while I shower..my life has been a lot easier.

Before while showering..Rah would open the curtain at random times..Hi!!...Momma? ..Hi!!..Car?? and then sign bath..over and over.

Now I get into the shower, and he waits then I lift him into the tub and sit him down with a car.
He happily plays..until I am finished then I will stand him up wash him, and pick him up to rinse.
Sit him back down, turn off the shower..and dry us off.

His favorite is when Daddy is home..and Daddy comes to get him with a big towel. He literally squeals with happiness.

So Daddy peeked in with the camera today, and got a big smile...from Ryland because "yay it's Daddy!" and from me because "yay I get to have a longer shower by myself!!" lol

Bed Hair is an Essential Part of a Good Morning.

Everyday Ryland changes..little bit here, little bit there...this has been happening for almost 2 years now..and although the changes are slower.
They are still there, and they still amaze me.

It seems like it was only yesterday that I was positive it would never happen for me..and the charting and the temping..and the worrying..the constant worrying...and I couldn't imagine what life would be like with such a wonderful blessing, and was scared to death that I wouldn't get to experience it.

And now.. I chart his growth, instead of my cycles..and I take his temperature
instead of my own. I'll admit..I still worry a lot..and I really can't imagine my life
without such a wonderful blessing.

Just Bananas!!

Another day, another mess!!
Ryland is probably the most dainty , messiest eater out there.
I know it's hard to tell by the picture..lol..but he really is quite dainty.
Who knew you could be dainty and yet make one heck of a mess??
I bet the Queen would like to know that.

That being said..I may have forgot the bib portion of his snack today.
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread + Ryland - One Bib = Messy Happiness.

And if you can't tear your Banana Bread into pieces and squeeze it all over your face when your almost 2..when can you???

Car Crazed.

Believe it or not, Ryland has a car in his hand..for almost every.single.picture.

If you can't see the car, that does not mean that it isnt there..no no..its there. In his other hand, in a pocket..lol.
He even sleeps with a car.

He is a boys, boy..and it's all about the wheels.
Oh and the super cool shades.

Thought I would join this world with Deneen, Simone and so many others.I love the idea of taking at least one picture of my Little Boy Blue..everyday to post and share.

Today Ryland was playing happily..and then started crying.."Mommmma" Mommmma!!"So I turned around..and he was standing there with his pants around his ankles with a shocked look on his face!! LOL.. I find it hilarious that he is not even two..but needs a belt full time..due to his "lack of bum syndrome".
